NEX-VG900 – to nowy kamkorder Sony wykorzystujacy pełnoklatkowy przetwornik – tak przynajmniej informuje producent.
Wielu może czuć się zawiedzionych – VG900 nie nagrywa obrazu w standardzie 4K, maksymalnie jedynie 1920 x 1080 punktów. VG900 nie wykorzystuje więc możliwości przetwornika (no chyba, że pstrykamy 24-megapikselowe zdjęcia).
Sony zdecydowało również, że rejestrowany materiał kodowany będzie AVHCD, zaś górny limit przepływności to 24 Mb/s. Kamera korzysta z obiektywów E-mount, będziemy więc mieli cropa. Będzie można jednak, korzystając z odpowiedniego adaptera, skorzystać ze szkieł A-mount, wtedy pokrycie obejmie cały sensor.
NEX-VG900 dostępny będzie w listopadzie w cenie 3300 dolarów (jedynie body). W tej cenie można kupić Nikona D800 czy Canona 5D Mark III.
